NBI bei Wettbewerb zu Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) dabei

Zu unserem Kurs „The Startup Source Code“:

„The Startup Source Code“ ist ein Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) zum Thema Gründung.

Jeder wird an diesem Kurs entgeltfrei teilnehmen können. Neben den Grundlagen zur Verwirklichung der eigenen Ideen wird thematisiert, welche Chancen neue Technologien für unternehmerisches Handeln bieten. Dies gilt aber nicht nur für „Hightech-Felder“ und E-Commerce, sondern für alle Gründungen und unternehmerischen Aktivitäten, von der Lebensmittelheimbelieferung über die Kreativ- bis zur Gesundheitswirtschaft. Mit dem „Startup Source Code“ erarbeiten wir mit den Kursteilnehmerinnen und -teilnehmer das Grundgerüst für eine Gründung (sozusagen den Quellcode bzw. den „Startup Source Code“) und regen zur Reflexion der Herausforderungen aktueller Technologien und Organisationsformen an. Ab April 2014 wird dieser Kurs einen ersten Überblick über die wichtigsten Themen digitalen Entrepreneurships in deutscher und englischer Sprache geben.

Zum Wettbewerb:

Ziel des Wettbewerbs (moocfellowship.org) ist es, die Entwicklung innovativer Konzepte für Massive Open Online Kurse (kurz MOOC) anzustoßen und die Umsetzung von zehn Kurskonzepten zu ermöglichen. Der Stifterverband und iversity hoffen, durch diesen Wettbewerb das große Potential, das in einer Nutzung der digitalen Möglichkeiten vermutet wird, öffentlichkeitswirksam aufzuzeigen und so der Organisationsentwicklung der Hochschulen in Zeiten des digitalen Wandels einen wichtigen Impuls zu geben.

Prämiert werden bis zu zehn Lehrende oder Lehrteams für ihr Konzept eines innovativen Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). Die Preisträger* erhalten je 25.000 Euro Förderung zur Realisierung ihres Online-Kurses. Ziel ist es, im Rahmen des Wettbewerbs fünf Kurse für das WS 2013/14 und weitere fünf Kurse für das SS 2014 zu produzieren.

About our Course ‘The Startup Source Code’:

‘The Startup Source Code‘ is a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) about entrepreneurship. Everyone – all over the world – will be able to participate in it freely.

Digitization and a growth of interconnectedness are the basis for a wide array of opportunities for entrepreneurs. This is not only true for the high-tech sector and e-commerce business; From food home delivery over the creative sector towards healthcare businesses, every entrepreneur may find a lot of support by current (web) technologies.

With the help of ‘The Startup Source Code’ we will work jointly with the participants on a framework of an entrepreneurship; we call it the ‘Startup Source Code’. Together we will reflect current shifts in technology and organizations in terms of challenges and chances. Our course will give you a summary of the most important topics for a digital entrepreneur in April 2014. We will offer the course in English as well as in German

About the Contest:
The contest (moocfellowship.org) seeks to identify ten innovative concepts for massive open online courses (MOOCs). Fellows will receive funding as well as assistance with course production. Stifterverband and iversity hope to raise awareness for the tremendous potential of digital technology in education and seek to activate a process of creative adaptation within the academic community.

Up to ten instructors or teams of instructors will be awarded a fellowship for their innovative Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) concepts. Fellows will receive a 25,000 Euro stipend to pay for the production of their courses. The aim is to have at least five courses online in the fall of 2013. Up to five courses may go online in the spring of 2014.
